Subli’Cimes Time In La Plagne

Can you believe it’s coming to the end of another winter season again?! But before it’s all over, we’ve got Subli’Cimes to look forward to. In its 3rd year this winter, Subli’Cimes is running from the 5th – 18th April.


So what is it?

Subli’Cimes is basically a celebration of the season with 6 peaks chosen around the resort to host 6 different events. In the past there has been a Siberian theme with animals  at the Grande Rochette, bungee jumping at Roche de Mio and magical happenings at the Fornelet, to name a few. This year we have some of the same but also some new twists!

  • Grande Rochette : Viking Camp

Subli Cimes Camp Viking

Open 10am – 4pm (except 9th and 16th April)

Non-skiers can get to this station, but a pedestrian pass is needed from the lift pass office to get on the bubble. This stop is great for families and kids:

Food and drinks tastings, games and demos and photo ops with ice carvings and real life Vikings…!


  • Becoin Chair : Beauty & Nature

Subli CImes Beauty and Nature

Open 10am – 1230 and 1.30pm – 4pm (except 9th and 16th April)

Accessible to skiers only.

Smoothie, energy bars and natural juices all free to try. Plus, pop-up beauty with eyebrow shaping and manicures. Plus, a barber’s corner for the gentlemen. Possibly the worls highest pop-up beauty salon!


  • Roche de Mio : Adrenaline

Subli Cimes Adrenaline

Open 10am – 3.30pm (except 9th and 16th April)

Open to non-skiers via Plagne Bellecôte or Belle Plagne Roche de mio cable car

All fun and games with ‘It’s a Wipeout’ style obstacle courses, a waterside and also something with rubber rings this year!


  • La Rossa : The Time of the Dinos

Subli Cimes Dinos

Open 10am – 4pm (except 9th and 16th April)

Accessible to skiers only.

Come see the recreated land of the dinos with artwork, sculptures and real fossils on view. Plus lots of activities to get involved with – dino searches, sledging and challenge the Velociraptor…!


  • Fornelet : Fairyland

Subli CImes Fairyland

Open 10am – 4pm (except 9th and 16th April)

Montalbert’s magical and enchanted world. Excellent for families and kids of all ages.

There will be games and rides from the land of the fairies and also a lost snow train in the woods! Plus the best thing – sweets and treats from the magic fairy’s!


  • Arpette : Zen Altitude

Subli Cimes Zen Altitude

Open 10.30am – 4pm (except 9th and 16th April)

Open to non-skiers via Arpette chair (pedestrian pass needed)

Mountain top wellness with hot tubs, tai chi and general well-being and balance.


For Free!

But the best thing about Subli’Cimes is that it is all free! There are some brilliant activities to get your heart acing but there are also some really fun things to do with family and children. Be sure to let your guests know what’s happening over the next 2 weeks.

Soap Box Derby

Then on Sunday 16th, Subli’Cimes will be finishing off with a Soap Box Derby. 25 teams are already busy building their top-secret carts. Just a few rules – must have a ski or snowboard element to help them slide & some breaks! Teams will be judged on on aesthetics, and speed!

Head to the Trieuse slope on the 16th to watch them all battle! There will be music with a DJ and a great atmosphere to witness the carnage that will surely follow!
