Paradiski Snow And Conditions Report – 22.02.16

To keep you up to date with current conditions in Paradiski, here’s Les Arcs resident Snowcrazy Chris’s account of skiing across the resort yesterday, taken from the Les Arcs Winter Facebook page.

“The pistes are holding up well to the busy traffic at the moment although this week does not seem to be as busy as last week. There are some hard packed areas around lifts today and lower down the pistes were getting sticky due to rain below 2000m by late afternoon. Higher up there was fresh snow falling in the afternoon.

The off piste on the glacier area was good in sheltered areas away from the wind and the effects of the sun from earlier days. Lower down today it was very heavy and quite challenging at times as the rain started to have an effect.

Hopefully tomorrow will bring more fresh snow with lower freezing levels and a good base!”
