Paradiski Snow Report & Weather Forecast 21.01.16

By JP of Aim Ski School
A beautiful sunny day, starting cold but quickly warming.
The pistes are now starting to wear a bit thin in the afternoons and decent pistes skis will now be more beneficial. The main thoroughfares are wearing through to the compacted and artificial snow underneath the softer surface.
The easily accessible off piste is heavily tracked but good snow can still be found not far from the pistes. People are now starting to venture further field with the Aiguille Grive and Comborciere couloirs being skied.  The Avalanche risk is still 3 / 5 so although the risk of spontaneous avalanches have decreased, there is still the risk of skier initiated avalanches on steeper slopes above 35 degrees.
