Yet another glorious day in Les Arcs. The early starters found perfectly groomed pistes, stunning sunshine and no one else around.
Some might grumble about the lack of fresh snow but if you like your piste skiing then conditions don’t come much better. The 700+ strong group of university students are nowhere to be seen for most of the morning so the slopes really are empty.
Plagnettes and Arandelieres in Arc 2000 are two long sweeping red pistes which offering fantastic snow and some great variations in pitch. These really are the pick of the bunch at the moment.
It’s probably the last day of quiet slopes tomorrow so I’ll be out making the most of it teaching some more advanced seasonnaires skiers the joys of piste skiing.
