Paradiski Snow Report & Weather Forecast 16.12.15

By JP of Aim Ski School
So at around 2am the snowfall started at around 1600m last night with great promise. But sadly the temperatures rose during the night and by the morning some rain had fallen as well.  The resulting 3cm of fresh snow on the piste was quite moist below 2100m and lighter powder above.  It was perfect though for the beginners lower down as it provided a softer top layer which was more forgiving for their first turns.
The slopes remain quiet which will help preserve the snow for next week.  There is no snow expected on any short term forecast so we will have to hope the base holds up well over the holiday period.
