Paradiski Snow Report & Weather Forecast 15.12.15

Thanks to the fantastic work done by the Les Arcs Pisteurs, the pistes are providing great skiing. Those that are here are benefitting from empty pistes and no lift queues. The snow conditions are best in the Arc 2000 bowl – the Plagnettes piste has superb grippy snow.  A good equipment decision is going to help your enjoyment factor massively, so choose some piste orientated skis with a narrower waist and lay down some crisp edgy turns.
Otherwise, the skiing around Arc 1600 and 1800 is good also, with more compact snow so sharp edges are important.
Peisey Vallandry is suffering with less even snow cover, so whilst the upper slopes are good, there are patches of earth and stones around.  Lower down into the resorts should be avoided if possible with the majority of runs still closed to due to snow coverage.
Snow is due this evening, which will help refresh the pistes and provide some extra base.  The off-piste is not advisable, which is difficult to believe given the number of tracks everywhere across the resort.
